There’s good news for dog owners and their pets in the United States this summer. Wetbone Company has announced the arrival of the world’s first doggy drinking pouch on doggy shelves across the country.
The water pouch is an attractive dog bone shaped 2-compartment unit with a drinking bowl at the top. Dog owners need only to squeeze the bottom compartment, and a small amount of water flows to the bowl on top, for the dog to lap up. If the dog decides he is not thristy after all, the water slowly trickles back into the reservoir. It’s doggone easy!
As you can imagine, developing this doggy hydration product was no easy task. Sue Tyska and Tony Tropea worked through several prototypes over a 2 year period, until they perfected the product with a little help from Ampac Packaging.
The pouch holds 16 ounces of water. Said Tyska, “We selected 16-ounces because you want to have an amount that isn’t going to disappear in one serving. We also didn’t want to go too big, because we still needed the pouch to be portable and to also fit into a pocket or bag.”
There’s more. The use-and-throw pouch contains purified vitamin B enriched water, and comes at an affordable price of $1.99 per pouch. It’s worth being a dog after all!
